How do I calculate the Covered area?

I understand that the software automatically calculates the living area, but I need to know what the covered area is as this is what a building contractor will base his quote on (so I am told). Any ideas? I'm not sure the software I have is even capable of this task.

If you can bring up a Materials List in your version, then look under Roofing to get the figure for total-covered-area. I think if you click on 'Tools' and then in the drop-down list you'll hopefully see Materials List > All Areas. This just might give you the info you need.
