2d front view
I am still new and trying to figure this out. Is there anyway to edit a front facing view. How do I get a side view? Is the 3d tool the only way to view and modify the sides or front?

Of the "Child Tool Icons" under the Camera group the last is "Cross Section/Elevation" camera tool for what you need. Look for it!
