Posts and footings for second floor Deck

I just started using the Home Designer 6.0.
I have a second floor deck and stairs with a middle landing.
They are floating in space.
I first put in a foundation at the first floor footprint.
The deck, rail and stairs look great.........they just float

The pro version has a Build Advanced Deck Framing tool.
Does the Home Designer version?

Our software is designed such that you would normally build the first floor on floor 1. Once you have designed the first floor you would then choose to build the foundation and derive it off the first floor.

In design your foundation is based off your first floor plan so it is designed after you design your first floor.

It sounds like you need to build the foundation at this point. The advanced deck framing is automatically built in suite and there are no controls over how this works in this simpler program.
