1st and 2nd Floor dont line up

I have just started using Home Desinger Suite 6 and took a fair amount of time creating my first and second floor of my split level home. When I went to look at the outside 3D view I notice that the second floor was shifted about 10 feet to the left of the first floor. Do I need to start over fresh to somehow reference the common exterior walls so they will line up properly or can I fix this in a little easier way? The only thing which makes my home a split level is the front door entry way other that that it has a mostly full daylight basement with attached garage and a second floor. The front and back of the second floor do over hang the first floor by 18 inches each but the remaing 2 sides do line up from ground to the roof or should. If I did it right I have attached a picture of the front of my house. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
