Which version of Home Designer do you have?

Not sure if this is what you're refering to. I don't see grab bars in the Library as such so in the pic on the left is a towel bar and on the right is a cabinet handle (greatly resized).

Thanks, Doug. I do a lot of designing for the disabled. Interior designor 8.0 perhaps is not going to work for me.

Then you might want to consider moving up to AHD 8 or Pro 8. They not only give you more customization options but they also can import Sketchup (.skp) files. Here's one example from 3D Warehouse.
