Converting KraftMaid .DWG files

I'm trying to figure out how to convert .DWG files from KraftMaid Cabinets to .3ds files so I can add to my library in Home Designer Suite 8. Is there a converter anyone has used successfully for this ?

In a thread a while back, I used Google's free version of SketchUp do import KraftMaid .dwg files into Sketchup and save as .skp files and imported those into AHD. The same should work for Suite 8.

However, in that thread, you will also see that it is way more work to convert the file, when KraftMaid is already on Google's 3D Warehouse in the .skp format, which can be imported into Home Designer Suite version 8 directly, or it is really easy to just use the cabinet tools already in the software to create what you need.
