PRO 7.0 deinstallation

After installing PRO 8.0, I now want to deinstall PRO 7.0 but it comes up with a 6001 error everytime. Won't even let me deinstall the 7.0 Tutorials. I saw someone was having a similiar problem but with a different error and they recommended installing the MS Windows install clean up program. I did this, and it does not even show PRO 7.0 in the list of installed programs so that it can be cleaned up.

I have already returned the 7.0 hasp to Chief Architect. Could this be the problem?
