Adding floor and roof trusses

I seem to be having a problem with adding floor and roof trusses. I have checked all the settings for trusses, but the program still adds ceiling joists and rafters. Any suggestions ?

Drawing a truss isn't hard. Just select the truss tool and draw a line where you want the truss. It will automatically figure out what it needs to look like.
