    Adding Light Source

I recall from the manual that light can be added to an object that isn't a light fixture, such as a television screen.

Has anyone ever tried to add a light source?

My question goes to lights fixtures downloaded from the 'net as images. Since they are not chief symbols, no light emanates from them and I would like to add some.

    Thanx

To add an extra light source, in HD Pro, you can go to the 3D menu and look for the tool called "Add Lights". You can click in the plan to place a point light. If you drag, you will get a parallel light source. In either case, you can open the light and change it. You can also make adjustments to it so that it is positioned where you want and shines where you want.

Play around with this in an empty room until to figure out how all the light settings work before you try to use it in a busy model. Lighting effects can sometimes be subtle and confusing until you really understand them.

O.K. I'm back after following Kilgore's suggestion and here's the end result using a downloaded lamp and adding light

I have only one word to say to you, but the forum master won't let me say just one word.
