Software crashing
I read a lot about this product before I purchased it and saw a lot of comments about the software crashing. I also remember reading, *somewhere*, about a possible solution that involved a video driver, perhaps?
My software crashes so hard that it locks up my complete XP system. I have to pull the plug on it to get it to restart. When it boots back up again, it tells me there was a problem with a video driver. The crash happens when I try to redraw a room.
Any suggestions?

Have you updated your video drivers?

When the software locks the XP system to where it needs to have the plug pulled you are seeing a problem at a hardware level. Software crashes will take the program down but XP recovers from that. Hardware crashes like this can usually be explained by video card issues. Most likely a video card driver but sometimes it can be other hardware.
If the crash happens in a 3d render view then the problem is most definitly related to video card problems. Most crashes like this can be fixed with an updated video driver.Dan Park
