holes in camera view

I have been having problems with Home Designer 7.0 (not suite). There is one room in particular that is fine until I build a wall, then the floor gets holes in it. When I add a window, everything goes to heck.

One time I was looking at a view with holes and I started clicking on the wall, the holes went away. This was weird, because nothing was selected - my cursor was not in "select" mode.

Another time, I clicked on "Camera Move Tools" and then, moved the camera back. The holes disappeared. I think it's a rendering problem rather than a structural problem when simply backing it up, fixes it.
