cabinet placement and rotation
Hello. I am running home designer suite 7.09. I am new to this, but when placing a base cabinet in a kitchen layout, I cannot get it to rotate with either the rotation button or by holding down the control key and dragging it. Any thoughts?

Hi steve,
The rotation handle should be the "triangle" (see attached)

Hi Steve:
I am a total noobie, but what I do is select the cabinet and on that menu a "rotate object" option appears. It works well on 90, 180, 270 degres etc. I am sure you will get many other replies, but you can add this one to the list of ways. Have fun.Ralph Woynarowski

The cabinet may not have enough room to be rotated. The software won't allow you to smash things together...as in 3D (real) life.
The control key allows for things to disregard the obove statement and isn't usually related to rotation.BH&G Pro Rev. 7.08

The centre handle is for dragging and doesn't require the control key unless to pass something it wouldn't normally do.
The rotate handle has tp be click dragged ina circlular motion to the angle you want.
This sounds like a mouse usage problem but may be the way I am reading your post???BH&G Pro Rev. 7.08

Steve,
I think Larry is right. When you have the triangle and click (hold) the mouse button you get the circular arrow. While still holding the mouse button down, move the mouse and the cabinet should spin.
It should rotate the > which is the front of the cabinet.Mike
