New Installation -- Won't Render

I have used Chief Architect for many years so I am familiar with the software of Home Designer Pro 7.0. Just installed it on Thursday. It does vector views just fine but will not do any version of a render view. I've even tried drawing the simplest 4-sided structure with a simple roof and it won't give me a render view of even that. It just stays on the floor plan and gives me a strange 4-sided black arrow type thing. What am I missing? Thanks.

The 4-headed arrow is the mouse movement cursor for the rendered drawing.

I think you need to go through all of your settings.

Look in the Layer Display and make certain that walls are set for 3D.

Almost everything has the 3d symbol on in the Layer Display Options.

What operating system are you using?

I think I would uninstall the software then re-install it. You might want to have an virus software or firewall software turned off while you do the install.
