    Covering Deck

I did not realize that my first post went on the Off Topic Thread. I don't know if I inserted the link correctly but it is titled Covering Roof.

Basically I the front of my sewing room to have a covered deck but I am not sure how to do it. If I just extend the roof it is too low. I also want an overhang above the garage door. I would appreciate any help.

I don't think that I really understand your question.

If all you are trying to do is put a roof over an area that doesn't have any actual walls, then just define it using invisible walls, open its Room Specification dialog, and check the box for Roof Over this Room on the Structure tab.

Kat--Thank you--I think you answered my question. I know I did not make much sense--that is what I get spending 3 months trying to set up my website. Thanks again.
