wall in 3d view

I am having an issue with the garage walls in 3d view for HD8. Regardless whether the garage is attached or not the walls seem to be elevated off the ground. Attaching a drive way to the garage is therefore useless since the garage looks about a foot over the drive way. Any help is greatly appreciated

Rooms defined as a "Garage" always do this, one of the guys who use it professionally can probably explain why this is.

How thick is your driveway? They usually aren't embedded in the ground.

Sooo, either define your room as something else and just change the text to read "Garage", or build your foundation or lower the floor height in that room.
