Parapet Walls
Question:
Sometimes people like the walls of their house to extend upward beyond theroof line. Sometimes this is a portico or porch with a "flat" roof (actually a "low slope" roof at about 1/4 in 12) with the exterior wall extending above it at least 8-12". Some people like a gable roof with the end walls extending 16" to 24" above the roof. (sort of a "Federal" style").
1. Can HD Suite 6 create roofs at a very low slope? (such as 1 in 12 or less?)
2. Is there a way to "trick" the program into allowing a wall to extend above the roof line?
3. Does this require a full-fledged version of Chief Architect?
Thanks to anyone who may have worked this out.

To create a parapet wall create a new floor without a roof or ceiling. You can use railings or set the ceiling height to lower the walls. Then select a roof material for the floor.
