lighting in 3D
I know that there is an 8 light limit, but my problem is somewhat related except I can't even get 8 to light up. I'm designing a kitchen and so I have placed mini cans over cabinets and a chandelier over the table and even though all together there are eight lights the chandelier won't light up. If I delete all of the mini cans and the chandelier is the only fixture then it will light up. Does anyone know what is going on and how to fix this?

Chandeliers are multiple light sources. The light fixture dialog treats them as one, but in the Adjust Lights dialog, you can turn them off individually. Might look odd?
I have a different version than yours, so I don't know if you have the same degree of control...Doug S.

If you have it, you can find adjust lights under 3D>Lighting>Adjust Lights...
(if... )
Or for render view see pic.
I only played with a few chandeliers. Some counted as four, some only two - even though they displayed up to eight.
But if you're using the same chandelier as you were in a previous version and getting different results, then I'm not sure what the problem is.Doug S.

Thanks for your help. Maybe I'll just use an invisible wall to separate the eating area from the actual kitchen so I can use both a chandelier and mini cans.awrosa HD Architectural 2014
