Interior Renovation only

I want to do an apartment renovation. How do I set it up so I don't have to have a roof overhead?

I wouldn't want a roof if I am working on an apartment that is on the fifth floor of a ten-story apartment building.

If you were only doing interior, you would never see the roof anyway since the ceiling would be over the top. If you don't want a ceiling either, just uncheck Ceiling/Roof Over this Room on the Structure tab of your Room Spec dialogs.
