Config porch or ceiling while tracing?

I used a .jpg scan of my plan to trace the walls, put in doors, windows, applicances etc. But when I try to double click on a room to adjust ceiling height, turn a deck into a porch, etc., all that happens is the scan of my plan is highlighted.

Can I substitute something else for double clicking? I don't want to remove the .jpg scan yet (I know I can double click on a room fine when the scan is deleted because I tested it). Or, is deleting the scan the only way double click will work?

Instead of double-clicking, try single clicking first. If you don't get the room, then try using the tab key or Next button. This should let you select the room and then you can use the Open button.
