I'm trying to draw a plan of an existing house with some remodel changes. The house has a basic gable roof with a two story add. attached to the south wall (eave wall). How do I build the roof for the main house without the eave overhang intruding into the addition? Also how to build a false dormer against the addition to shed moisture. I've tried the Auto Rebuild Roof function, but it creates this wacked out design.

IT would greatly help to know the version of software you are using, which will aide in determining what roofing tools you have. Also, if you could do a screen capture of what you have so far, save as a jpeg and up load it here so the "Experts" can help you.
