Raise bathtub? Raise a section of a room?

I am trying to build a raised, corner bathtub in a bathroom layout.
In this same plan, I am trying to raise a portion of the floor by one step up. And of course - I don't want a straight stair, but a gracefully curved one (complex curve). The idea seems to simple and elegant...but I don't know how to do it.

I have been using Suite for a number of years and have just converted to Pro. 7 program.

You can't have multiple ceiling heights in one room, which means you can't have multiple floor heights, either. So you would have to define a seperate 'room' for the tub. I would try using an invisible curved wall to define the step up. You might have to play with the tub room's platform thickness setting, if there is another room below the bathroom.

I don't know that this is the correct or best approach. I am merely offering a possible solution that came to mind.

I think the attached picture is what you are trying to accomplish.

Select the desired tub and place in a corner as shown.
Open the DBX of the tub and set the floor to bottom to 7.5 inches.
The curved step is used by shifting to CAD mode in HD pro .
In the plan view select the curve tool and draw the curves as desired . Close with straight line tool. When you complete a closed polyline right click and select convert polyline. Select counter top. Set depth to 7.5 inches and height from floor to zero

Another relevant application

In the attached picture :

The plank is a soffit
The formwork and the concrete are two polylines converted to counter/slab.

Create the wood one first
Copy/resize (use concentric resizing) to create the concrete one
change/convert both to counter/slab with the concrete solid height set to 1/16 inch higher to get the result shown
