Help with Dormers!!!

I am building a two story house with dormers on the second story. I do not want an attic level above this. Everytime I go into the full overview it looks as if I have a three story house. It puts the dormers where they should be but places a whole other level between the 1st floor and top.
I tried deleting the second story and drawing everything in on the attic level and it was even worse. What should I do since it won't delete the attic level? Hopefully someone can help me!

Floor A happens automatically and you can't do much with it. The trick is to keep Floor 2, make it very short and with no ceiling, so the attic space and underside of the roof form the upper part of the rooms and the ceiling.
