Selection Pointer Speed

My selection / pointer just flies across the screen and it is difficult to select objects and handles. I have adjusted everything in the control panel. It works fine everywhere else but, once in the software it is hard to control. Windows 7 with XP mode. Does anyone know how you slow it down?

What version of the software are you using?

According to the website, only the version 9.0 programs on supported on Windows 7, and they shouldn't need to be run in XP mode.

Does it work correctly in the standard Windows 7, not XP mode?

Yes, you are correct. I am using PRO Ver. 9, but I can not get a driver for my HP Desisgnjet 250C to work on Windows 7. So I installed the XP mode only to run my plotter.
