Fluted cabinet partition
I have a 4 1/2" wide cabinet partition added to each side of a kitchen cabinet run that I wanted to add a fluted molding detail to visually see in 3D.
There is a chair rail, that looks like flutted moulding. Not sure if there is a way to add this so it appears vertically. If not is there another way?

What version of the software do you have?
Some programs allow you to apply moldings to cabinets . . .
Article Number 887: How to apply cabinet moldings
However, you might need features only available in the Chief Architect version of the software to either model the fluted pilaster in the cabinet specification dialog, or create a vertical molding like you have described.
You might be able to get by with a carefully placed piece of millwork, such as a column?
Just had another thought on this, you might be able to just save an image and use it as a material to a Closed Box, or Soffit, to create the effect you want? (image attached)Last edited by Katalyst777; 01-27-2010 at 12:02 PM.
