How do I delete attic walls, make cathedrall ceilings?

The second floor of my house is made using short side walls (75") and then the roof is made with scissor trusses and they create the ceiling for this room. I have tried creating this floor in the "room dialog" box at 75" with no ceiling but I still get an automatic attic drawn that gives me more room height than I have as well as makes the 3-d overview wrong. Help please. Zach

    Welcome to the forum, Zach.

A question for you: which software title and version are you using?

If you're using Pro, then you should be able to create a ceiling plane that is a different pitch than the roof pitch (i.e., the geometric result of a scissor truss). Otherwise, the ceiling plane will be parallel to the roof pitch if you've unchecked the box that says "ceiling over this room" in the Structural tab of the Room Specification dialog.

An attic wall is automatically drawn as the result of the roof pitch extending above the room below (established by initially setting the ceiling height).
