Adding Background picture
I am using Home Desigern Version 9
I am trying to add one of my own pictures as the background to my camera full view. I have followed the instructions (File- Import- Backdrop) and selected (Open) the picture from my hard drive. Nothing happens. When I go to 3D Backdrop and select Picture the library opens and only the stock photos are there. There is no catagory "My backdrops" as indicated in the Help section. I don't know where to look for my photo that I supposedly imported. My photo does not exist in any Library file (imported/exported). I have imported my 5 different pictures and they are no where to be found in the Library.
Any suggestons? The file is .Jpg 983kb.HD9

When you import a backdrop image using the File>Import>Backdrop tool in one of the version 9 Home Designer products it goes into the Import folder of your library. You can then move it into your User Libraries. I would recommend creating a folder in your User Libraries called My backdrops (or something appropriate) and move it there.
To use your backdrop you can select it from the 3D Backdrop dialog that you can find under the 3D menu.Dermot Dempsey

I am using Version 9.6.1.1 purchased 10-09.
I can create a file in my import library, but I still have no idea where to find my picture to place it in the Import Library. How Exactly do I move a picture (my own) file from my desktop and move it to a file like "My Backdrops" that I have created in the Import library. When I use the File Backdrop Import method, there is no indication as to where the "imported" file will go.

When you use the "File>Import>Backdrop" tool the file goes directly into your library browser. You should be able to find it in the folder called "Import"Dermot Dempsey
