Line Weight Error
Is there a brave soul that wants to try and explain a couple of issues?
1) What is causing the lines and error message?
2) When the “send to layout” function worked perfectly with Pro 8, why was it changed in Pro 9?
Yes, I have checked for updates.
I think it is time to go back to using Pro 8.Gord C

In your very first picture you posted you have specified your line weight as 1/600mm. This is too fine which is why you got a warning message.
In your next picture you have specified 1/600". If one of these pictures was for a plan and the other one for a layout that you sent the plan to, then this would explain the warning in the third picture. I suspect that you did not really intend to mix 1/600mm with 1/600".
I believe that Pro 8 used a line weight of 1/600" by default and Pro 9 uses a 1/100mm by default. You should probably not mix a Pro 8 plan with a new Pro 9 layout because they will not have the same line weight scale. My recommendation would be to finish your Pro 8 plans in Pro 8 or at least start your layouts in Pro 8 before bringing them into Pro 9.
As for your window and crashing problems... I have no idea what caused them but that is the kind of thing that I would recommend reporting to tech support. If tech support can confirm a program bug, we usually try to get those fixed and released in an update. If they can confirm that you are doing something wrong, then this is probably worth knowing about as well.Dermot Dempsey
