Exterior wall 1/2 concrete with top half wood frame
Home Design Suite 7.09 with Win XP.... Just trying to design a simple garage 18 x24 which I need to build into the side of a hill. Therefore two walls against the hill will need concrete 4 feet up and the remainder wood frame. Can this be done in HDS 7.09 and if so which dialog box(es) do I do it in?
I am planning on a floating slab floor with 10 ft side walls & gable ends.
I've been looking but no success as of yet. Thanks in advance.

Since Suite does not have pony walls, according to the online comparison matrix, you could use thin resized Closed Box geometric shapes from the Library Browser
But, keep in mind that if you've got windows and such, that a closed box won't automatically cut off when it is in front of those, so you might want to consider upgrading to Architectural Home Designer, or Pro, which do have pony walls, if you've got a lot of these in your plan, or will be creating more than one plan that needs that tool.Kat >^..^<
