Home Designer Suite 2012 Crashing Constantly
Hi,
I have just bought Home Designer Suite 2012 and I'm literally just starting to play with it. The software is constantly crashing whenever I try and produce a 3D view of almost any kind on anything.
Can anyone tell me a fix, as I am very disappointed at the moment.

If it's happening with camera views, then your video card is the most likely culprit.
I'm not familiar with the "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560" but double check to make sure it has at least 256MB dedicated video memory (not shared).
If it does, then it's time to update the driver for the video card.
Also, maybe do some Google searches for what that "Fault Module Name" .dll file is that the crash references, it might help get you pointed in the right direction to resolve the error.
I tried searching for the number/letter strings under the "Additional Information" but only found one of the same crash with CorelDraw, you might want to read the replies there - http://coreldraw.com/forums/t/18552.aspx?PageIndex=1Kat >^..^<

Create a separate profile for HomeDesigner Suite in the nVidia configuration tool.
Then, set this profile to allow HD control of all settings that allow application control. Lather, rinse, repeat until the HD software stops crashing.
Also, be very careful with impoted models, as the HD product line is 32-bit and will quickly use all system resources of which it is aware.
You may want to try the nVidia BETA driver 304.48 released yesterday 06/18/2012. Amazingly stable and improved both speed and quality of HD 3D camera views (I haven't tried a Final w/Shadows yet)

New BETA drivers allowed the attached. Over 400 Sketchup models @ 3m + surfaces. Old nVidia drivers would crash._________________________________
