Roof and Truss Labels

I cannot find any info in the user guide or reference manual for Home Designer Pro 10 that tells me how to change the labels generated by HDP10 for floor and roof trusses. Can these be accessed and changed?

You can turn the automatic labels on or off as they are or make your own labels.

Does this also apply to HD Essentials? We'd like to use names like "Wardrobe" instead of off alphanumeric strings supplied by the program. And if so, can you give us a clue where to find that function?

Essentials has even less functionality than Home Designer Pro in this regard. If you want customized labels you will have to make them yourself using text tools.

To add to David's suggestion on creating your own labels, you'll also want to turn off the automatically generated ones in Display Options.
