    Question Multiple install, single user

I'm want to purchase Home Designer Pro. I will be doing design work on a computer at home, but I need to be able to print on a large format printer at work. To do this effectvely, I would need to install the software on two computers. In reading the support library, it looks like this is OK, as the anti-piracy functionality seems to implement a "single concurrent user" policy.

Before I make the purchase, I just want to confirm that this is indeed the case and it will work on two computers that are NOT on a shared network and have only access to the Internet (not to each other).

    Best regards,

    Al Kozakiewicz

I use Chief Architect Premier X4, X5 and Pro on both my laptop and my desktop, just not at the same time. the deactivate and activate license works flawlessly for Home Designer and for Chief Premier by my experience.

It is easier than the article suggests (but that does work). Purchase a hardware lock (a small USB device) that you move from computer to computer. If you haven't logged out from the 1st, the lock will not let you launch the program on the second. It is 49 bucks. Just add it to the purchase when you get the product. It is great!! Bill B.
