You should be able to create a room and set the Finished Ceiling Height to be the higher value to create this.
Of course, since you have Pro, you could also just draw the roof planes in manually as well.Kat >^..^<

PS: It goes without saying (that is why I am saying it) that precise dimensions would be required to have a useful product but the actions would be essentially the same.

wow, thanks David. this is a house that is down the street from where we will be building in the spring. most of the houses in our area have a roof with this kind of feature. i really appreciate you doing the video.
