Copy and Pasting A Split- Level Building
I am doing a subdivision that consists of 4 Split Level Fourplex Buildings. How do I copy and paste these buildings? No matter what I do the heights seem to go all over the place!

Each instance of the copied buildings will follow the default settings for the first and second floor set in "Floor Defaults".in the plan where you are copying them. As is common for subdivisions the land varies in height but the buildings, though duplicates of each other are at differing elevations to each other (the software does not know this), so it is up to you to adjust the relative floor heights for each building instance.
What software are you using?

PS: When I do this in Chief Premier, I make the building instances into a symbol which makes them easier to control but this is not an option in any Home Designer software title and so is a lot more work, wrangling the building instances to your specifications.Last edited by David J.
