Alert message while trying to import Sketchup file

Hello. I was trying to import furniture from Sketchup but was unable to. I received the following message: This application has failed to start because MFC71u.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Has anyone else had this problem? I have no idea which application they're talking about. What software am I supposed to reinstall?

Oh, I tried to import via the 3d symbol option. I also tried opening the Sketchup file directly but that did not work either.

    Thanks for your help.

I checked out ChiefTalk for more info and came up with these from some of the company people. I think the same will apply to your version.

    alt71.dll: http://www.driverskit.com/dll/atl71.dll/172.html
    Hope this helps!

Also keep in mind that you will need to save as version 6 or prior to import .skp symbols into Home Designer. Until Google's team releases the updated API, we can't import version 7.0 .skp files.

Well, Katalyst, looks like you've come to the rescue again. Thank you for helping me to resolve this. Now I can import all of that nice, modern furniture which Sketchup offers... -- Anca

Katalyst, thanks for the hint about saving the sip file as v6. I was having similar problems importing from SketchUp Make 2013, but saving as v6 seems to solve the problem.
