Retaining wall issues
I'm sure I am just doing something, simple, wrong, but I can't figure out how to have a retaining wall abut the foundation wall and still see the concrete wall to allow a garage door to be installed. I have adjusted the terrain elevation in an attempt to resolve this issue without luck. The ground comes up sharply right at the foundation. I have tried using a straight retaining in place of the foundation wall which works, but a garage door cannot be installing into a retaining wall. I can email anyone the plan .zip file if you would like to see how I have set up the terrain.
Thanks

You done really well actually! Just move the Terrain Transition object inboard to the house little by little until the terrain is removed from in front of the garage door.

David, Thanks for your quick reply. I have been trying to move the retaining wall into the house, without luck (I think this is what you are suggesting to do). I have also moved the retaining walls further into the foundation. One thing I have noticed is the retaining wall seems to be angled (seen in the C-D Corner image) where it abuts the foundation wall. I'm not sure if this is allowing the retained landscape to "leak" in.
Thanks again

If you have Home Designer Pro you can move the "Terrain Break" object closer in (other Home Designer titles do not have this feature) so since I see you have Architectural you will need to emulate such an object by placing two elevation objects close together, one higher and one lower adjusting them relative to the front of the garage door until you get the right effect on the terrain. It is a trial and error type of deal until you get it just so (a lot easier to do in Pro or Chief Premier).

Finally figured out a resolution. When I created the "terrain perimeter" I had the "flatten pad" box check. As soon as I uncheck the box my issue was resolved. Thanks for your help!

Very nice indeed. But who left the furniture outside?
