Cabinet Question
Is it possible to create a cabinet which has doors that are open or half open? Also is it possible to add molding in Home Designer Essentials?

I don't think so , you can delete the door or change it to an opening for 3d views though, not sure what essentials can do are cabinet moldings in your bonus libraries? M.

If essentials has this cabinet tab, then you can simulate an open door. Start with 2 identical cabinets, then remove the door from one of them.
On cabinet 2, delete everything but the door, then make the cabinet very thin and resize it proportionately. Reposition and angle the thin cabinet.
It's not perfect, but it's probably the best you can do.
If you want to move this cabinet as one unit: select one piece, hold down the control key and select the 2nd. This will allow you to move them together.JoAnn

You can also do this with cabinet drawers, using the open box symbol from the library.
