I want my upper roof to extend down and join the first floor roof and maintain its full width. The large broad gable walls should stay flat. But instead it looks like a Hip roof is trying to happen. I've tried lots of Gable commands. You can see the gaps, left and right, at the lower edge of the upper roof in the image attached. I want to make a simple farmhouse roof (other pic) Click image for larger version.

ID:	13026with attic style second floor using knee walls, with the upper roof plane extending down. Without the small extension rooms on the first floor things work just fine, but that leaves just a simple rectangular shape.
