Hi there, thanks for your quick reply, I am using Home Designer Suite 2014, and my operating system is Windows 7, Attachment 13884
I also tried to change the front yard wall (the terrain wall) to a Half wall (see pic 2) to see if I could add a fence gate to it Attachment 13885but for some reason the wall is floating in the air, i hope you can help me.

If I do change it for a normal exterior wall, the same floating effect happens, Click image for larger version.

Terrain walls do not accept or carry door objects, only regular walls do that but on the other hand in Suite you cannot easily control the bottoms and tops of walls when they are drawn without forming a closed room.
You can draw a wall and it will be straight relative to terrain, so the terrain must then be altered to the fixed wall position. You have discovered a built in limitation of Suite's tool line up. Upgrading to Pro could help or you just work with the tools available to get the effect you want.

PS: you can draw two terrain wall objects, leaving a gap between them the width of a door or gate, then place a re-sized soffit in the gap to represent a door or gate. I do not see why you could not also download and import a gate or door object from 3D Warehouse if something plain like a soffit is unwanted.
That is more specifically what I meant by using the tools you do have to solve modeling problems, better to work with what you have than to give up.

Thank you for the advice David, I was able to eliminate the floating walls by turning off the auto calculate elevation options of the terrain, and I simply used half walls to do it, but I will definitely check the 3D warehouse options, here is the way it looks nowClick image for larger version.

I am posting a jpg image to show just a few possibilities that can be done with a couple of changes to the "normsl" methodology used in HomePro. I will be posting a tutorial soon.
