Living Area Calculations
How can I see a calculation of living in total for the entire structure?
Can I install a sun room ceiling as all glass or install sky lights in a ceiling of a room ?
Thanks,

hi Robert,
both looks good idea but the one i liked the most is installing sky lights in a ceiling of a room..Get the best selection of Kitchen Carcass , Shelves and Cabinets in a wide range of finishes at Modular-Kitchens.com.

I have been looking for an answer to my question regarding finding the total living area of a structure within Home Designer Architectural. I searched carefully through the program Help Module. I looked at every menu choice and button . I performed a search on Hometalk. I was not able to find the answer. If I should not ask these questions on Home talk , please let me know and I won't do so in the future. If that is the case, can anyone tell me to whom I should pose questions about Home Designer Architectural ? I am trying to prepare a design of my own home and I would like to receive some help and product support. I was under the impression that Hometalk was the place to ask questions. Am I mistaken ?

Copied from the Help files of Architectural:
Living Area vs. Footprint
The Living Area should not be mistaken for the footprint of the house. Only true livable areas are included in the Living Area calculation. Exterior and hybrid room types such as Garage, Deck, and Porch are not included. Neither is any room labeled Open Below or Attic.
Either method works.
