home designer suite.
Please forgive my simplistic Question, this is my first. When I have a question, how do I get answers that are specific to my version of home designer? I've watched to many videos just to find out that it doesn't work for me. Please help

Welcome to the Forum!
Important posts/threads you should read:

How to get good answers
How to attach pictures
The above listed threads should answer your general question. As you can see so as to let other others know, part of my "signature" is what software I have and use and a little about my computer or you can just state that with your questions so others have some background for your question.
The chart for video tutorials shows which title it is pertinent to each video and as you have seen not all titles are equal in ability so you have to look and make sure you understand before you waste your own time.

you don't say which version you have but the Online Video menu allows you to pick your version in the drop down box and it will highlight the applicable videos with an orange band which videos apply to your version.... or you can click on the button for your version too.

The Help menu has a searchable database of the Inline help manual ,some version come with a PDF of a reference Manual ,Pro does, and the online Help database has lots of tutorials too but I don't think it is version specific but most Tuts. state somewhere in them if it is doable in a specific version.

Edit.... beaten to it by DJP not sure why CA doesn't make a signature with Version a requirement when you join the Forum......Last edited by Kbird; 04-11-2014 at 12:28 PM.
